During the growing season, things can get pretty busy around the office. Between expanding into new retail territory, ramping up Quinta sales and planting and weeding field trials, the term “all work and no play” can quickly become a reality! Sometimes an employee engagement activity is necessary in order to provide some much needed down-time at the office, keeping staff spirits positive and allowing them to head back to their desks later with creative juices flowing!
There is nothing like a National holiday to bring staff together in celebration! This year, the Quinta Team celebrated Canada Day with a Canadian themed potluck lunch. The meal featured classic Canadian favourites like caesar salad, potato salad and strawberry shortcake with a few Canadian inspired additions like maple bacon dip – Yum! Quinta Quinoa even made an appearance in a delicious quinoa chili!
Simple activities like this keep employees engaged and encourage team collaboration, which is fundamental to the work model we try to exemplify here at Katan Kitchens/Quinta Quinoa.
