Ontario Grown Quinta Quinoa for sale at The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair for the first time ever!
You read that correctly! After 4 years of exhibiting, spreading our story and promoting our brand, Ontario Grown Quinta Quinoa will be available for purchase at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in the Northern Ontario Pavillion.
Since the launch of our Ontario-grown Quinta Quinoa, in 400g and 900g package sizes, earlier this year, demand for the high protein, highest nutritional quality quinoa has been greater than expected, and sales have expanded into numerous retail locations across Ontario. We attribute our retail success so far in 2016 to an overachievement on our goal to produce the highest quality quinoa on the market. Through nutritional testing we are the first commercial quinoa to qualify for 6 nutritional claims, which we feel, makes Quinta Quinoa the ‘Super of the Superfoods’. Quinta’s nutritional claims include high in protein, fibre and zinc, excellent source of magnesium and iron, and a source of calcium. The Quinta team has visited numerous tradeshows across the GTA in 2016 to sell our exceptional nutrient profile quinoa and to share our story with Canadians. Next on our tradeshow schedule is the highly anticipated Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (The Royal) at the Direct Enercare Centre in Toronto ON. Our team will exhibit in the Northern Ontario Pavilion from Wednesday November 9th to Sunday November 13th, 2016. Highlights of the booth will be sales of the 400g and 900g bags of Quinta, samples of our signature chocolate quinoa granola, and educational material around our development of the complete value chain for quinoa in Ontario.
Company President and CEO Jamie Draves will be at The Royal on Wednesday November 9th to speak on the development of Quinta Quinoa and answer questions from fair attendees. Also taking place on Wednesday, November 9th is The Royal Champion of Champions Chef Challenge on the Royal’s mainstage from 1pm to 3pm, surely a Royal Fair day you don’t want to miss!
