Quinoa Cake

We all need a little sweetness every once in a while. Baking is a wonderful way to kill time while you make something delicious. This recipe is not only delicious but also healthy: our #QuintaQuinoa cake is truly a great option if you feel like having some dessert without too many carbs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1 cup of sugar (200 grams)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of cornmeal (120 grams)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of cooked #QuintaQuinoa⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 eggs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 pinch of vanilla essence⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 pinch of baking powder⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 tablespoons of olive oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of milk (8 oz)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cinnamon powder⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Powdered sugar⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✔Step 1:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Put the cooked #QuintaQuinoa in a bowl and mix it with the milk and the eggs one by one. Remember to always rinse your quinoa before cooking it⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Add the baking powder, the sugar, some olive oil and vanilla essence⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Lastly, mix it all with the cornmeal⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Don’t forget to grease the mould where you want to cook your cake and put in in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 356 °F⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
