These tasty, no-bake, and super healthy Quinta® Quinoa protein bites are everything you need to save you from those afternoon cravings without feeling guilty (because, to be honest, they’re the ultimate snack) .
Time: 30 min
Servings: 25 bites
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of cooked #QuintaQuinoa
- 1 cup of uncooked oats
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup (because we are Canadian, eh!)
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter
- 1/3 cup of chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- A pinch of salt
Optional: Powdered sugar
Preparation:
1. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Combine everything, absolutely everything in a bowl. Stir it with a wooden spoon (and don’t be afraid of using your hands) until it’s all mixed
3. Make small balls with your hands, the size of the bite depends on how you like them
4. Put the balls on the baking sheet and take them to the freezer for at least 4-5 hours. You can add the powdered sugar before freezing
5. Once they’re frozen, they’re ready to eat!
You can save them in the freezer for a while too, but we can’t promise they will last too long once you tried them!
