Italian Quinta Quinoa

Sometimes all you need is grandma’s meals. Something that makes you feel cozy and loved. We gave it a turn to a classic Italian recipe and leveled it up with our Quinta® Quinoa! So, you can call us Nonna!

Ingredients:

3 cups of cooked #QuintaQuinoa
2 cans of peeled tomatoes (56 ounces)
4 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons of olive oil
8 oz of turkey sausage (or your favourite one)
2 oz baby spinach
Optional: Grated parmesan cheese

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 425F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Using a cutting table, cut the tomatoes and add them to a bowl. Mix them with the garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and the liquid from the can. When everything is mixed, pour it into the baking sheet and roast it for 40-50min in the oven, stirring it from time to time.
3. Slice the sausages and prepare them according to their package instructions.
4. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and then, add the cooked Quinta® Quinoa, baby spinach, sausages, and tomatoes to a pot, setting the stove to medium heat. Cook it until spinach is tender.
