Healthy Carrot Cake Smoothie

Are you in the mood for a Smoothie? We have those moments, too! And unlike milkshakes, smoothies are filled with lots of nutrients and healthy ingredients.⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Time: 5 min ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Servings: 1 or 2 servings (depending on how much you love it)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Difficulty: super easy ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients: ⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 cup of cooked #QuintaQuinoa ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of chopped carrots chunks ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of frozen cauliflower or zucchini ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 cup of frozen mango/pineapple ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 tablespoons of coconut flakes ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (you can choose a vegan one!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup of your preferred milk (regular, coconut, almond… Up to you) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 – 1 full banana ⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preparation: ⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1.Get ready: take your blender. Now, prepare and cut all the ingredients, keep them close to you. Put them all (and we mean: all) inside the blender and… Blend on low for 1 minute. Once it’s ready, turn the speed up to high and blend for another minute, or until the consistency is the one desired. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2.Pour the Smoothie into a glass, and get creative with the toppings: it can be some more coconut flakes, maybe sprinkles, or cinnamon…Or the past three together! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This recipe fits perfectly as a snack, but also for breakfast or late-night cravings! It also contains all the benefits of the Quinoa: it’s full of minerals, vitamins and, guess what, delicious!
