It’s Sunday morning, and it’s still too cold to go outside just for fun, even though the sun is out and shining. You wake up feeling hungry, wanting something like cereals but with more consistency and yummy. And you remember that you SAVED THE POST of the that recipe you liked. Make sure you save this one as well – it’s a must-have! (You’re welcome – courtesy of @alaskafromscratch).
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of cooked Quinta Quinoa, (still hot)
- ½ cup of sweetened Greek yogurt (Maybe a vanilla or honey flavour)
- ½ cup of milk (or any mil substitute)
- 12 strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp of sliced almonds
For serving: more milk or sweeteners (like maple, sugar, or agave nectar), add to taste
PREPARATION
In a bowl, stir the Greek yogurt and milk, mixing it with a spoon. Divide the hot quinoa into two serving bowls. Pour half of the yogurt/milk mixture over each one. Add the strawberries and almonds. Serve with any other additional item you like! Other fruits, maple syrup (our favourite, of course!), granola, chia seeds.. Whatever makes you (and your tummy) happy!
