These tasty, no-bake, and super healthy #Quinoa protein bites are everything you need to save you from those afternoon cravings without feeling guilty (because, to be honest, they’re the ultimate snack) .
Time: 30 min
Servings: 25 bites
Difficulty: easy
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of cooked quinoa 1 cup rolled oats
- 3 Tbsp of shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup of raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup of peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
PREPARATION
1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl or process in a blender until it’s all well combined.
2. Take a small amount of dough and form it into balls using your hands. Place each of them on a cookie sheet or small pan (something that will fit in your freezer). Chill for about 2 hours until firm.
Enjoy! You can store them in the freezer for a while too, but we can’t promise they will last too long once you tried them! Credits to: @recipesworthrepeating, go and follow her account to get more recipes!
