Quinta Quinoa Energy Balls

There’s nothing more annoying than having the cravings for chocolate when you are trying to lose weight for a special occasion… Lucky for us, there are plenty of healthy options to consider… We hope you guys like this, a healthy and tasty chocolate treat that will put the cravings away!

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cups Quinta Quinoa (rinsed and toasted)
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

Directions:

  • Add almonds, raisons, and cocoa powder to a food processer. Pulse until well combined and no chunks are left
  • Add toasted Quinoa and maple syrup to the food processor. Plus a bit more, stop while the quinoa is still mostly intact
  • Shape into balls and put on a baking sheet
  • Either enjoy right away or put in the fridge for 1 hr till they firm up
