Quinta Quinoa has been making its mark on the international stage this year, taking home awards from several trade shows! Quinta Quinoa was recently one of the Top 10 finalists in the SIAL Innovation contest and was displayed as part of the Innovation Exhibit throughout the show in Toronto. A total of 92 companies worldwide submitted products for the prestigious Innovation Award. The 92 entries were narrowed down to 55 contending innovations by a panel of judges and Quinta Quinoa was proud to be among the final 10 selected. Quinta Quinoa exhibited at SIAL in the Grow Guelph Pavilion, which was hosted in partnership with the City of Guelph, County of Wellington, and Innovation Guelph. Shortly after being selected as one of the SIAL Top 10 International Innovation Award winners, Quinta Quinoa president and founder Jamie Draves flew to Geneva, Switzerland to compete on the international stage once again. After making his pitch to the judges of the NutraIngredient Awards competition, Quinta Quinoa was selected as the International Startup of the Year during the VitaFoods Europe Conference. VitaFoods Europe brought together the industry leaders of functional foods, supplements and nutritional products from May 9-11th 2017 for a conference and tradeshow event. The Top Three Finalists from each NutraIngredient Award category gathered to pitch their innovative products to a diverse panel of expert judges. After a day of deliberations, the award winners were revealed at the NutraIngredient Awards Ceremony on the evening of Wednesday May 10th.
In addition to winning NutraIngredients International Startup of the Year award and the Top 10 SIAL 2017 International Innovation Award, Quinta Quinoa has been recognized by several other organizations as an innovative product, including Regional Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence and the Food Innovation Award from the Ontario Farm Fresh Marketing Association.

What are the directions for your quinoa
Hi Kim, Thanks for your interest in Quinta Quinoa! Our cooking instructions are as follows: Rinse thoroughly with cold water. Add 1 cup of Quinta Quinoa and 1 1/4 cup of water to a medium size pot. Bring to a boil (about 2 min), reduce heat and simmer covered for 12-14 minutes.
