This year the Quinta Quinoa team had accomplished many things, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
✨2019 Highlights✨
- Jamie Draves travelled to Germany with Innovation Guelph for the Global Food Summitt Pitch Competition.
- Partnered with The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank and Food4Kids in Halton Hills to help provide nutritious Quinta Quinoa to those that need it the most.
- Launched new SKUs to expand in to the Food Service, Healthcare and Food Processing channels.
- Successful next stage R&D (Research and Development) for future value-add quinoa based products.
- Over 200 Sobeys and Foodland Stores in Ontario were approved to carry Quinta Quinoa on their shelves.
- Multiple Demos in new Metro stores across Ontario and some more in Sobeys and Foodland stores.
- Chefs cooked Quinta Quinoa masterpieces at the Garland Cooking competition at the RC Show.
- Quinta Quinoa was part of many tradeshows /events, including the Innovation Expo, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (with two booths), and ‘Local Meets Global: Tastes & Trends’ by Gordon Food Services.
- During the summer, Quinta Quinoa got a new and improved look for the retail bags!
- A lucky person got to win an iron-filled gift thanks to the partnership we had with @Lucky Iron Fish.
What will 2020 bring? Besides a new decade, Quinta Quinoa is aiming higher than ever, and we look forward to keeping sharing our successes with you, our #QuintaFamily. 🎇
