Quinoa Avocado Burger

Avocado and quinoa go very well together, don’t you think?

But now, think about both of them inside a burger… that’s our recipe for today. Delicious, right?

Ingredients:

  • 250g Quinta Quinoa
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ lemon
  • 4 tablespoons oatmeal
  • 1 parsley branch
  • 1 coriander branch
  • 4 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 egg
  • 2 avocados (Mexican Avocados – small)
  • Letucce
  • Pita bread
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut and wash the herbs.
  2. Peel the avocados and crush them with a fork.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and onion, the lemon juice, a little bit of olive oil, salt and coriander. Mix a little.
  4. Wash and cook the Quinta Quinoa in water, add a little bit of salt.
  5. When it’s ready, mix it with the oatmeal and the grated carrot.
  6. Add the egg along with the bread crumbs, parsley and garlic.
  7. Add some salt and pepper and use this mixture to create 4 hamburgers.
  8. Grill them with a little olive oil – 2 minutes each side.
  9. Fill your pita bread with guacamole and all other ingredients you’d like, take a pic and tag us.
