We can’t promise that you won’t get addicted to these energy balls. We are sorry (not sorry) ahead of time hehe. They’re fast to make, crunchy, sweet, and delicious…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What a dangerous combination, right?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Time: 5 min⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Serving: 10-12 (depends on the desired ball size)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:⠀
- 1 cup of cooked Quinta® Quinoa ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/4 cup of peanut butter (or another tolerated nut/seed butter)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 3 Tablespoon of oats⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 3 Tablespoon of grated coconut⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 Tablespoon cacao nibs (or chocolate chips)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 teaspoon of vanilla⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 teaspoon of honey⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 teaspoon of molasses⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you love sweets, you might want to add some sugar or sweetener! ¼ of teaspoon should be enough⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preparation:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Blend everything. That’s right, absolutely everything⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Form balls with the dough, using your hands! It might feel a bit crumbly, but that’s the point. They’re ready to eat now; if you’re going to save them for later, refrigerate!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Note: If you have kids, maybe they will enjoy helping you to mix everything with their clean, bare hands, and then forming the balls. Not only a great snack but also a fun-to-make one!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
