Cinnamon Quinoa Apple Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of uncooked, rinsed Quinta Quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 L apples
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • Honey or Maple Syrup ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ

Prep

1. Peel and core both apples. Chop them into small-sized pieces.

2. Place a saucepan on the stove, add the quinoa, water and apples and heat it over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, cover and let it simmer for 20 – 25 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the quinoa has absorbed the water.

3. Sprinkle the cinnamon and serve in two bowls.

4. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
