As you can see… We love breakfast! #Quinoa is such an excellent ingredient to replace rice, cuscus or add to salads… But mostly because you can create almost any delicious masterpiece with it! This @thespruceeats ‘ recipe is the perfect example of why we are such fans of the breakfast quinoa recipes and it’s #Vegan!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of raw #Quinoa
- 2 to 2 1/2 cups water (if you’re using #QuintaQuinoa, you only need 1+/14)
- 2/3 cup soy milk
- 1 tsp of vegan margarine
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup
Optional: raisins, sliced bananas, dried fruits in general
PREPARATION
1. Set a saucepan on the stove and heat the quinoa and water until it’s boiling. Turn the heat low and let it simmer for 12-14min until the liquid is absorbed. When it’s ready, please remove it from the heat and let it cool.
2. Stir in the margarine and soy milk, and then the remaining ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon and… That’s it!
