Quinta Local Superfoods Inc. is a fast-growing Superfood company in Canada committed to providing a positive work culture that offers multiple opportunities for growth and development. We are looking to hire an intelligent, organized, self-motivated individual for a role as a Project and Warehouse Coordinator in the Rockwood/Guelph area. The chosen candidate will be responsible for food/agricultural product processing and provides the opportunity for growth and advancement in the process and equipment of current and new crops. We are accepting applications for full or part-time positions based on the applicants’ qualifications and availability. Logistics, inventory management and food safety knowledge related to processing goods and grains is an asset. Forklift experience and/or certification is also an asset. The selected candidate will be required to work at the company’s warehouse located in Rockwood, ON.
Roles and Responsibilities
50% Facility & Processing Work:
- Setup small parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments including preparing and labelling.
- Lead in monthly inventory count & reporting process.
- Weekly clean of the facility.
- Processing of totes on off hours of Production Technician.
- Assist Production Technician as needed.
50% Project Management & Administrative:
- Update invoices and bills into the company’s software system.
- Monthly calls/emails to grocery store locations for ordering.
- Collecting quotes and setup of LTL & FTL shipments.
- Coordination of co-packing process.
- HACCP plan development & documentation.
- Assist Team & President as needed.
Assets & Qualifications
- Previous food production experience.
- Forklift Experience (not essential)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfortable working on your own, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
SALARY
