GUELPH — A business honoured with a 2013 Innovation Guelph Award will go before the venture capitalists of Dragons’ Den next month.
Jamie Draves, president and CEO of Katan Kitchens, will make a televised pitch to the panel, on Dragons’ Den!, on Wed. March 11, at 8 p.m.
Draves leads a firm seeking to commercially grown, process and market quinoa products. Katan Kitchens was founded in 2011.
According to a new release issued by the firm, Katan Kitchens entered ‘The Den’ seeking financial backing for the development of a gluten-free processing facility in Northern Ontario in order to clean their quinoa varieties called Quinta quinoa for sale in North American and global markets.
