Northern Ontario Quinoa Wins Quebec Food Innovation Award

The first Ontario grown and processed quinoa, Quinta Quinoa, taps into Quebec’s market by winning prestigious food award.

GUELPH, ON- Quinta Local Superfoods Inc. a local quinoa producer, is excited to announce that they won the ‘Best New Product’ award for their Quinta Quinoa at the Eat Better, Live Better DUX award in Montreal, Quebec on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

The Eat Better, Live Better DUX contest honours action and innovation by recognizing health and nutrition leaders in Canada. The contest consisted of both public vote and juror’s vote contests. The jury involved professionals who have expertise in the health promotion and agribusiness sectors. Quinta Quinoa impressed the panel with its exceptionally high-nutrient content and unique, nutty flavour, resulting in receiving its category’s highest scores and ultimately being named ‘Best New Product’ in the contest.
